what i thought would be a night full of goals against an amateur football team called ‘hercules’, turned out to be the biggest cup upset in the history of dutch football: hercules (3) - (2) ajax. it was also a historical night for me, since it was my first attendance as a photographer at a professional game and supercharged my photography career in the football world. i always tend to think: “what would have happened if ajax would have just won, as they should?” oh well, we’ll never know.
what i do know now is that since then, it has gone very rapidly in the football world for me. i have established myself in a sector that i could have only dreamed of when i was that little kid that tried to become a professional football player.
“how can i do things differently?” is also what i always thought of as a kid. this has become my main mission with my photography: providing alternative visual storytelling. don’t be feared, i also tell the stories of businesses in varies sectors, from travel businesses until barbers. just check out my work to see what i’ve got in store for you.
